Purchase Order Management and Pursuit Purchase order management and pursuit encompasses total cargo control. The purpose of this exercise is to maintain absolute and collective control responsibility by Project Logistics International (PLI). A typical scenario follows: Purchase orders are transmitted to PLI PLI immediately inputs p.o.'s into agreed upon system/format PLI immediately contacts suppliers and obtains pertinent information PLI immediately updates the system with collected information PLI will immediately inform your staff of any deviations PLI will offer transit to marshalling yard if FOB terms PLI will arrange pickup if Ex-Factory terms PLI will verify packing lists against p.o. upon receipt PLI will immediately inform your staff and your supplier of any deviations PLI will denote p.o. numbers on all relative documentation and systems
